A Softer Teak Frame
The armrests are shaped with gentle curves rather than sharp rectangular corners. This makes the long three-seat frame feel less rigid and creates a more comfortable contact point around the arms.
Handwoven Rope Support
A UV-resistant rope back is woven by hand behind the cushions. Rather than using a solid timber panel, the rope provides support while allowing the rear structure to remain visually open.
This combination of solid teak + woven rope + loose cushions gives the sofa a warmer, less formal character than an all-wood frame.
Open Structure
The raised seat, slender legs and open areas below the arms allow more light to pass through the sofa. This makes it particularly useful for terraces where buyers want generous seating without visually blocking the surrounding architecture or landscape.
FSC-Certified Solid Teak
The frame is made from FSC 100% certified solid teak sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Teak is naturally suited to outdoor furniture because its dense grain and natural oils help it tolerate moisture and changing environmental conditions.
The exposed timber also gives the sofa the ability to age naturally rather than depending entirely on a surface coating for its appearance.
For long-term care, periodic cleaning and an appropriate teak care product are recommended. For covered outdoor installations, annual maintenance is generally easier because the timber receives less direct weather exposure.
Handwoven Outdoor Rope
The backrest uses UV-resistant outdoor rope cord, woven by hand across the supporting frame.
The rope adds slight flexibility behind the back cushions and avoids the visual weight of a solid teak back panel.
Removable Cushion System
Both the seat and back cushions use removable covers, making everyday maintenance and future upholstery replacement easier.
